Life Under The King

For too many “Christianity” is a good idea, and it is. However how we engage it makes all the difference in the world. Many take the idea and try to fit it in their lives. Putting the things they learn about life, marriage, singleness, parenting, work and so on, they take these things and pack them in to their already hectic and full lives. In the end most end up weary, burnt out, not having hope and not having peace, instead of freedom in christ many end up feeling shackled. This is not what Jesus meant when he said this in John 10:10 “ I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

What are we to do with this idea? How does a person free themselves of the burdens of life and yet still live it? 

Fulfillment is not found in this messed up world, we cannot hold on to any of it and grab fully what we are meant for in God. Truth and the full life as God intended begins with our relationship with Jesus and that leads us to the harmonious eternity with Him and an enduring life here in his earthly kingdom.
