Lost & Found

Have you ever lost something? When we are talking about possessions, I think we can all relate. We can all relate to the stress when it comes to losing physical things. It is another thing entirely when we consider people who are lost spiritually.

We live in a hyper sensitive time. Our current culture is very much in tune with anything that resembles even remotely as a judgement. It can feel impossible and frustrating to consider how to share the gospel with people when they feel judged just by bringing spiritual matters up. Never mind if you bring up a sin in their life, it is a sin to the world to even do that. To add another layer, we can often devalue a person when we judge their life choices or circumstances and may ascertain that they are irredeemable. Truth is that is not how God sees them. People who are spiritually lost is exactly why Jesus came. The lost human has not lost their inherent value to God, they are just in a space that they are not living up to their purpose or potential. There is good news. The lost can be found. That what this message is all about.
