Hope - A Christmas Gift

Introduction:

Gift giving is a huge part of Christmas in our culture. I would not be surprised if people consider it the largest part of the Christmas experience. For those who still believe in a jolly fat guy who brings gifts down a chimney, gift receiving is the only thing.

What has been your greatest gift ever received? We do not always get what we want. Sometimes the holidays can be darker than we'd like to admit. Humans face all sorts of dark moments in their lives. Seasons of hurt, pain, disillusionment, and all types of suffering. But though this is a shared reality, we also have all been given a wonderful gift. Hope is the gift Jesus brings us every Christmas.
