El Shaddai
This morning, I want to remind us of something simple yet profound: God is good, and everything He makes is good—including you and me. From the very beginning, in Genesis 1, we see God’s greatness in creation, and His crowning achievement—mankind, made in His image. But what does that really mean? Unlike animals, who live by instinct and desire, being made in God’s image means we can reflect His nature—we can choose, create, and most importantly, know when to say “enough.” God Himself modeled this when He finished His work and rested, declaring it very good. So today, I want to explore this truth with you: what does it mean to bear God’s image right here in Melbourne, Florida? Why does it matter? And how does it change the way we live, love, and reflect Christ in a world that often tells us “more” is never enough?
