My House Will BE Full

 As followers of Jesus we need to understand the heart and desires of God. He wants His house to be full. That all His creation will be able to partake in His goodness and love. Jesus told a couple of parables with the theme of a banquet that helps illustrate the name and character of God that he is compassionate and gracious and desires that his house be filled. Likewise we also see the character of God that he is just and that he will not turn a blind eye to those who are not dressed properly for the banquet. For we are to be dressed in the righteousness of Jesus to attend the wedding banquet of His Son. Those who are not will be cast out into darkness and will not taste his goodness but instead drink in His wrath. Knowing God’s nature and desire, Jesus was obedient and stayed focused on his mission to fill his father’s house by seeking answers saving the lost. We who are followers of Jesus have the same mandate. We too must be about seeking and saving the lost in order to fill God’s house. It is also an expression of love towards God when we do this as well as being loving to the lost. Time is short and we must have an urgency to accomplishing this work.
