Kingdom of Heaven
Jesus’ parables in Matthew 13 reveal that the Kingdom of God is already at work among us, worth more than anything else we could ever pursue, and will one day be revealed in fullness when He returns. The call for us today is to recognize its presence, value it above all else, and live ready for His coming.
Jesus said the Kingdom isn’t something we can point to — “Here it is” or “There it is” — because “the Kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21)
It’s present. It’s growing. But so often, it’s hidden in plain sight — beneath the noise, the weeds, and the distractions of life.
In Matthew 13, Jesus lifts the veil.
He helps us see what’s been right in front of us — a Kingdom that is at work right now in a broken world, worth everything we could ever give, and leading to a day when everything will finally be made right.
So today, as we open these parables, the question isn’t “Where is the Kingdom?” —
the question is: “Am I truly part of it?”
