Practices of Jesus

The great spiritual value to the idea of 'solitude'. We see this spiritual practice in the life of Jesus and as his disciples we should imitate this practice. The main passages I am using are: Mark 1:35 and Luke 5:16. Areas to highlight: These moments were not just for rest, but for intentional intimacy with the Father, prioritizing spiritual alignment over public demand. It shows that even Jesus prioritized solitary prayer over constant activity. And also that we should see this as a biblical model for us in seeking solitude with God as a place for peace and clarity.

We Sabbath once a week. Solitude should be daily. Strive for. If you try to hit a target, you will hit it a few times, and then as you continue to practice you will improve.
